Frontosa ID

Can anyone tell me what species of frontosa this is, what sex, and the value of this particular fish. Its about 7 to 8". Thanks in advance.

Frontosa "Burundi". At that size $40-$60. Burundis are the most common frontosa variety.

I'd say Burundi as well, probably a male and agree with the 40-60 price range.

I agree with both of the previous posts. There is no for sure way to sex a frontosa by just looking at it... You will have to vent it to make sure.

Burundi. If it's a male, it's a $10, maybe $20 fish here in IL. If it's a female $75. But I'd bet my left arm that yours is male.
