Frontosa losing its hump?

My 10inch frontosa has developed some peeling and redness on its hump and now it's getting worse. It's actually inside now,looks like a chunk of it is gone and all white inside slowly eating itself

I'd like to treat it with something asap. I've put it a quarantine tank at the moment.

Could any spot the decease? And what should I treat it with?

That could have started as HITH, but as of right now, its well beyond that. That's a nasty infection.

I always thought HITH is a New World cichlid disease

yea, he said it was the 1st thing he did

fair amount of possible causes. Would guess bacterial over parasitic. I would treat for aeromonas. The tricky thing about this bug there is a lot of residence out there. I would try a triple sulfer...
