Do you mean one alpha male is not eating? How many are in the tank..what tank mates are they..is he inside his cave and refuses to come out?? They seem to want to hide out more then they want to eat..it is precious to them..to keep their cave or rock... if this is the case try as i do..i take a long thong thing that holds the food on the end and hand it to him.. mine eats right away as long as he doesn't have to part with his cave..they have a fear they will lose their place on the totem pole.. or pecking order.. i hope that is the problem.. :D

it both my alpha and beta thats not eating. i feed them spectrum thera-a sinking pellets. the pellet will sink right in front of them, but they wont eat

soak pellets in minced garlic, fresh best... and then drop them in...try adding some bloodworms or beefheart too...sometimes add variety can help... even if dietary needs do not call for it...

Well i would be concerned then too.. yes i would try some garlic as mike suggested..actually i use garlic on a steady basis for all my tanks...seems it just helps keep everyone healthy and when they are healthy they eat better..they could also be having a little rift between them ,,i would just try different food that may snap them out of it, as mike suggested,
