Frontosa pr. Price

One of my friends wants to sell his pr. of Burundi Fronts. What would be a good price to offer him? They are proven and I do have a small colony started already so it is great for me. Just looking for input on a price.

how old and how big

They are about 2-1/2 yrs. The male is about 9" and the female about 8".
He has had a couple of batches out of them. They are nice looking fish.

That's about what I was thinking. I already have 10 females about 4-5" at home so it would be a nice little colony, and I could start getting baby's right away from the pr. while I wait for the rest to mature.

$100 is good but you are just making an offer...I'd say $65 and let your friend drive the price a bit. No matter what I buy I always knock about 30% off what I'm actually willing to pay then I have plenty of room to negotiate and always get what I buy cheaper than I had expected to...

The cheaper the better, but remember with a friend you never want to offend them... Make sure you are fair...

wow! here in socal you can get 1 front (breeding size) depending what kind starting at $100. damn, thats a come up!

I sure... and I can sell tanks on ebay for three times what they are worth... but the key is to not over pay... of course everything cost more there...
