FRONTOSA QUESTION

Hi guys

In the UK to find large female zarie blue frontosas at a reasonable price is difficult. I wanted to know if a large number of male frontosas could live together, 10-12? I want to do this because I already have 4 large males and 2 females. The only option I have of diluting the 'not too bad' aggression is taking out the two females and adding more males - because i know where they are avalible. What do you guys think?.

Oh you poor dear Brits! People are giving those away down here in TX. I had a guy offer to pay me to adopt 5 of them last week, but I had to turn him down because my 125 has not cycled yet!

I breed fontosa for year and there is no probem with keeping all male or any other combo.This are not a agressive fish as far as cichilid go.There will be some chancing going on but as long as there are 3 or more no problem

All male tanks work. How big is the tank you're gonna put them in?

Should not have any problems with an all male tank.
They may posture a bit, but for the most part they will settle it out rather peacefully.
