I will be ordering a 240g Glass cages tank in a few days, I have decided to make it a deticated frontosa set up. My question is I have the choice between a 72Lx24Wx31H tank or a 72Lx30Wx25H tank. So in your opinion which would make the colony more comfy a larger footprint or more depth? I plan on keeping 5 or 6 females and two males after I thin out the fry as they grow.

As always thanks for your time and advice.

The extra footprint is great for whenever they get spooked and dash off. Perhaps those few inches will be enough to brake before they smash themselves.

go 96"x24"x24" for a 240g. that's what i'm running and i think the length is more important than the width and height.
