torquay, devon, !!ENGLAND!!
rite, just to say im new to this perticula fish forum so hi everyone.
rite i have 3 zaire blue frontosa (2-3"),3 calvus(1-2") in one tank and some malawi's in another but im getting rid of all but a few of my malawi's and vics: neochromis omnicaeralius kuene is.(adult breeding pair), metriaclima callainos, p.elongatus, some brichardi, and a hybrid male aulonocara.

do u think that these could go together as my neochromis are pretty aggresive, but my female has a mouthful at mo so i will take her out at begining to reduce fighting. in a juwel rio 400

if not then i will buy from a wholesaler (friend of a friend): small silver arowana, tea cup sting rays(not 100% sure on these), some large frontosas(will probs get these any way) and cyathopharynx furcifer Kigoma. could these all go together along with my frontosa, calvus and neochromis(really rare in england only adults in country, so wanna be carefull with these).

do u think that these would be able together would personally prefer the secound option but if can't do that then will do the first.

thanks matt

Fronts are slow growing, will the arrowanna get so big so fast that you would be worrying about them eating the frontosa, especially the juvie ones ?

What are the dimensions of your tank, frontosa need to be housed in a six foot tank, they do best in larger groups of all frontosa. Example might be 6-8 frontosa in a six foot 125/135 gallon tank, or 12 frontosa in a 7 foot long 2 foot wide 265 gallon tank. Im not familiar with the other two species at all.

Frontosa are aggressive to each other but the wimpiest fish with other species i have ever seen !! So my advice is to keep just frontosa in your tank.

well mine is 8f x 20" x 20" and its 180gal, my ultimate aim is to have a group of like 20-30 zaire blues in a tank.
lol
i dunno about the arowana and rays but im going to be trying to sell them so hopefully they will be gone by the time they get to big
