hey Guys,

been out the hobby for a while, been playing with retics and other big pythons for a while. but ive just purchased a 6foot by 2foot by 2.2foot.

i want to go with frontosas as ive always loved them but never actually had any,

i need some suggestions on the best aquascape? just a few rocks? or?

also im going to grow them on, how many should i start with? i was thinking 12, and maybe this would end up thinning down to about 8?

or is this too many?

thanks

Kept and bred frontosas for years. Nice looking, but kind of a boring fish. Had some rocks and a large piece of driftwood in the tank. Females need areas to get away from over aggressive males. If you can sex the juveniles, I would get two males and four to six females.

Here is my aquascape hahaha just one boulder (keeps alpha less aggressive in my opinion). Also helps prevent them from hurting themselves when they dash around and helps make them more sociable.

Get a group of them as big as you can.

And yes, they do use the caves.

Nothing more stunning then a well done front tank.
