I just bought my first frontosas. I got 10 bruandi f1 babies. First time getting anything from this lake. I'm not sure what other cichlids will go in the same tank. Anyone have some suggestions. What do you keep with them?

Calvus are a good one. What size tank? Anything else in their?

Picked them up at my local fish clubs auction. 40 bucks for all 10. I thought it was a steal so I couldn't pass it up. Right now their in a 75, but I have a 220, 125, and a 5' 120. Not sure what tank they will end up in cause I have some gold jaguars, dovii, and festae that will also need some big tanks down the road too. Looking into getting another 125 soon.
No tankmates yet, not sure what will work. what calvus are you talking about.

What kinda fish you looking to keep with the fronts? Want it strictly African or you want to venture in mixing African's with Asian with S/A with C/A fish as well??

congradulations on the fronts and getting them for a steal too...

I wouldn't mix with the new worlds that were listed, although if you want to go with new world tankmates, go with severums or geos that are acclimated/raised in the water fronts need.

I would want to keep them with Cicihlids from their lake. Hopefully I can get something in there that not stop the fronts from breeding and that will produce some babies them selves.
