cyphotilapia frontosa mpimbwe aka paratilapia frontosa. i like your tank btw

Have to disagree here. Looks like 1 7 stripe kigoma and the rest are burundi IMO

my large fronts only eat sinking foods.. my front fry will eat off the top. tank looks great! I see 1 seven stripe kigoma... rest may be 6-stripe kigomas (due to inbreeding)?? I do get some 6-stripe kigomas in my fry....

I would say burundi with mooning/split stripes.. I used to have 3 that were like that... 7 on one side 6 on the other plus mooning on one side or 6 stripes with mooning on both sides. Still nice fish though I used to have burundi with mooning but they were stunning in coloration for a burundi. I like the tank also, what is the background is that a diy cement one or is it just one of those sheets you buy at the store?

I would have to say they look like burundi's to me. Does the one with seven stripes have seven on both sides or just one?

I wouldn't worry too much about the mooning, the fry are young and if feed right the mooning can fill in. My fry had mooning alot worse that what I see on yours, they are now about 3-5" and the mooning is all but filled in.

Feed them a high quality food that contains lots of spirulina. I feed mine 2 mm sinking NLS and an HBH veggi flake. Both food are high in spirulina. This is one of my suspected males at about 4". You can see just a hint of the mooning that remains.

Here is another group shot and you can see the slight shadowing of mooning that is darkening and filling in!
