frontosa with new world cichlids?

i want to try a frontosa but i have sa/ca cichlids such as gt, loisellei, convict, texas. water ph is around 6.8. will it be ok if it's similar in size or would the frontosa get beat up or die with such a low ph.

i dont see why it wouldnt, i see people keep new worlds with frontosa all the time.

I keep my Frontosa with SA/CA cichlids. I would rather have a species tank, but space doesn't permit. I have had no problems. I keep up with my water changes and added some crushed coral to the substrate to keep the pH from dropping too low.

BUY THE FRONTOSA BIGGER THAN THE SA/CA. THEY GROW VERY SLOWLY

A bigger front should do fine. Give him a big cave or rock outcropping that creates some shadows.
