Frontosa with skin prob

Heyy everyone my frontosa has some weird stuff growing on him and some on its fin ! I seperated it last 2 weeks because of some aggresion issues now it developed some weird growth on it !!

I agree, a picture would help alot. How often do you do water changes? Do you use salt?

It looks like fin rot or ammonia burn. What are your water parameters? I would start by doing a large 50% water change and add some aquarium salt at 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water. you should test or have your water tested.

I took ur advice but it seem to have gone worse the fish is doing alot better ! But jus the stuff on it is growing bigger

This looks exactly like what im dealing with on a RTGG...ive tried api general cure for a full treatment and pimafix with no progress. I just tried taking the fish out of water and dropping iodine on the wounds. Maybe give the iodine a shot and see if it gets better. Is he in a critter keeper lol?

Yea lol thats the only think i have to separate him from the main tank sadly i hope ur catfish gets well soon ps: i have a red tail catfish too he is a foot long

Opps sorry i meant red tail golden i kept thinking it was a rtc lol i have a rtg too in my other tank will share it with u hope it gets well bro
