ok so ive had this one frontosa my manager gave me out of one of our tanks at work and ive had him for ever (hehe like 4 months) and i swear he hasnt gotten his bulb on his head and he is not getting really big at all. he is not one of those rip off frontosa look alikes ive read about. he gave it to me cuz i was leaving and it was a parting present. currently this fish is prob about 4 inches. is this normal????

Had a front until my cheapo heater fried him at approx. the same size, and he was just beginning to develop some curves. My understanding is that they are slow growers..
Grow very slow, and burundi's develop a larger hump than most other fronts. However some other fronts also have a nicer coloration.
