frontosa's and cichla?

I have always wanted frontosa because of their beauty, but i also love peacock bass. can the two species be kept together if the frontosa are the same size or bigger?

The prime pH for a frontosa would be around 7.6, not sure what pbass need but I can only assume they would be fine at 7.4-7.6

Oh so they should be okay together, sorry for the wrong info. I just didn't think they could be put together.

It'll work. Depending on if the fronts are wild caught or not. I've kept this mix for a while and all seems to work out great. Granted my fronts weren't wild.

Proof is in the pudding....

The only thing I would worry about is if you didn't get adult fronts. Fronts grow a lot slower than peacock bass and could become a meal.

I wouldn't do it...fronts are best kept in groups of their own kind.
