I have already posted for help in the African section but I am posting here too because I always get great advice here.
I rescued 5 frontosas which were kept very poorly in a small tank. The female is the worse off, her eyes have sunk in and you can see into the sockets and her fins are very tatty. She is not being harassed but she is swiming alittle awarkedly and shows no sign of wanting to eat unlike the others.
My first question is they will need antibacterial and hole in the head treatment but which do i treat first?
and secondly is there any hope for the female?and also shall i seperate her. I am hesitant in doing so because since fontosas live in social group she might give up if she has no mates to feel secure. Just wanted to add they are in a large tank now.
Thanks any advice would be gratefully recieved
