Fronts holding

I've never kept them, but from what I understand, they hold for 4-5 weeks. Like other mouth brooders, she won't eat until she swallows the eggs, or spits them or the fry out.

thanks,there only young fish so would it be best to leave her alone with this batch and see how it goes,dont know if my male is fertile so dont want to strip the eggs if there is no point

Let her hold them, if they aren't fertilized she'll eventually get rid of them.

Agreed, if they are still young, and this is the first holding, see how it plays out rather then strip her. What i use to do is make small piles of rocks in the corners of the aquarium if i wanted fry to survive. If the eggs are fertile, and you have places for them to retreat to away from the adults, youll deff end up noticing babies sneaking out for bites of food eventually
