Just received my order from Dan and wanted to let the community know that the frozen CBWs are the best thing to happen in fish food/nutrition I can remember. I just fed my wild discus tank, large cichlid tank and my reef tank and the worms were devoured with gusto. What's best about these worms, compared to the freeze dried, is that they
float and sink just like the live ones. I had stopped using the freeze dried because I use overflows on my tanks and half the dried worms ended up in my filter - even when I would shut down filtration for half an hour.
I wonder if Dan can supplement these worms with additives or medications prior to flash freezing.

I think that every local fish store should stock this product. JMO.

You get 11 lbs for $120 shipped. That is a HUGE amount of food. There is almost no water packed with them (unlike frozen blood worms) so they are solid bricks of worms that will take up 1/4 of your freezer and make your wife question your sanity.

i havent bought them yet but i read good reviews for the frozen blackworms. and its a lot more than you think. im planning to get some when i buy some goldfish. if you ever bought 1lb of live blackworms from dan before you will know its a LOT.

I just 7 lbs myself from dan and my fish go crazy over them , everything from my 5 baby rio meta orino peacock bass, to my SA/CA's to my stingrays ev en my arrowanna's Love them , don't think I have a single fish that doesn't like them lol

It's awesome seeing your fish change colors right before your eyes when these (live ones) are dropped in the tank. To almost complete breeding dress!

I also bought the 7lb package deal and my fish are loving them just as much as the live blackworms. I've been feeding them about a week now with no problems. Definitely much easier that live though I will still get live when I stop at the LFS.
