frozen fish?

i was just wondering why do people freeze their dead fish and keep it in the freezer. Just seems like a waist of space.

LOL...It's their choice, Jed. On the other hand, most people freeze them for further examination if they feel it necessary to do so. There are also others who put them in jars containing formalin to preserve them.

I still have my balas in the freezer. I kept them becasue they were some of the very first fish that I kept (had them for about 9 years). But, fish aren't the only pets that people keep in the freezer. My grandmother had her dog (poodle) in the freezer until we threw it out when we cleaned her house a while back. Wouldn't want to mistake that for frozen chicken wings...
