Hi, I’m preparing to get a red wolf fish and I was planning to feed it tilapia, shrimp, and or pellets. But how do I prepare such frozen foods. Do I have to cook them or sterilize them? If so how would I? And what kind of shrimp to use, any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Don't have to cook just let frozen food thaw before feeding.

Yes, just that easy. Be sure to only thaw what you will feed that day so you may have to cut smaller pieces off the larger frozen pieces.

I would buy a talapia filet or shrimp and chop into appropriate size then spread it thin inside a gallon freezer bag. Lay it flat in the freezer. When you need to feed you just take a piece out and thaw it.

I buy my frozen Tilapia filet from Wal-Mart each filet individually wrapped. Not expensive they sell raw shelled whole frozen Shrimp also.
