frozen food

when im feeding frozen food like bloodworms should i drop the frozen food in the tank or let it defrost in a cup with aquarium water and then put it in?

I defrot mine in a cup of tankwater first but it depends on what your feeding
the blocks will defrost just in the tank its slower-Anne

I drop them in frozen and my fish just swollow them whole

i usually defrost in tank water then feed but if i'm in a hurry i drop in whole and the fish still eat them

is it bad for the fish if they eat the food while its still frozen?

I always thaw mine out in a cup, but i use it for all four of my tanks. I was told to only drop the blocks in if you don't have the time to thaw them out, but don't know if it is bad for your fish or not.

I rinse mine under running water in a net and then feed. There are all kinds of binders and things in those cubes (you can see the gunk when it defrosts in the tank) that just pollute your tank.

Usually I just drop them into the tank....let all to fishes come and grab them...

i dont feed worms to my fish but i have observed that they prefer their frozen food to be nice and popsicle like... defrost it and they chew and spit...
