I bought a bag of frozen peas, just was curious how I should prepare them prior to serving to mid sized 4-7" cichlids (C.A. & S.A.)? I was thinking about nuking them for a few and shucking them, any suggestions would be helpful.....

Just put a little water in a coffee cup and nuke them for literally a few seconds until unfrozen. I used to mash them up with a spoon, but not too much. If they're mush, they'll just break apart in the tank and be pretty much useless, other than contributing to your decomposing load.

just defrost them naturally (well actually i put them on a heat mat, just cause i got one). then chuck them in.

I just warm them up and toss them in and the dissapear. It doesn't take much to do it, they are peas afterall.
