Anyway Benzjamin, I'm sure a nearby petco sells live large rats. They aren't cheap though, probably atleast 10 bucks each.
I've HEARD that feeding them nothing but mice/rats is not the healthiest diet for them but a few times a month can't hurt. I mean they eat them in the wild anyways along with small birds, snakes, lizards, other frogs, children, etc....

I guess the thing about Petco is that they sell them individually and I was hoping to find a pack of 12 or something. All the stores that I've been to only sell large frozen mice. I found a place that will do the killing for me, so maybe I can buy a dozen from them and have them do the dirty work and put them in my freezer?

I've been told that when done properly, frozen rodents are flash frozen which kills them quickly. This is both better for long term preserving as well as a more humane way to kill them...

Ben, that mouse is more than enough for that Pixie. AND, if you only feed it mice it will die, as has been said already ( too much protein and fat ).

Just make sure you are giving it a varied diet and he'll be fine. I agree I wouldn't feed him huge rodents though, and only use them once in a while. Try rodentpro or micedirect.

Don't give it as much as it will eat ! YOU have to control it's diet . I can eat three double bacon cheese butter burgers from Culvers at a time . So if I did that at every meal how long do you think I'd live
