Frozen silversides for rays

Anyone here with rays that eat frozen silversides?

I picked up a package but my ray won't touch them. Matter of fact, none of the fish will touch them. Maybe I got a bad package?

Any idea of how to get my ray to eat them?

My ray eats them like crazy and actually all my fish love them. Just keep trying.

take what ever else you were feeding. And put the both of them in a bowl. Add water and let soak for 30-60 min. That way the flavor will transfer. Then while you feed, Feed like 90%old food with 10%new.. and they will take it very quick. I feed them all the time.

i agree just keep trying . i go through a fair amount. look for un eaten an pull it out fouls tank quick.

I use silversides as my main food for all my fish and rays and they all love them more then any other type of food. Just starve then out a bit and keep trying. Also depending on the size of your ray might need to cut the silversides up for them.

any chance you can fill me in on what silverside's are??? are they what we call whitbait?

white bait is something different. The latin name is manida manida i think diferent species only found on east coast

Remember to totally defrost it, it should be tasty for them.
