frt and a plec?

can you keep a plec with a fly river turtle?

I wouldn't do it. There are many cases of plecos chewing on the shells of FRT. I think we see a couple cases a year on MFK from people mixing the two.

Personally,i think plecs are not a good idea with any turtle,as they can rasp on the shells causing considerable damage.

Definitely a negative. Its just too tempting for the plecos to much on their shell.

my frt ate my pleco.

I have a flagtail with my frt. It does a better job at cleaning algae than a pleco and they get along great. Like others said a pleco isnt good to put with frt. Some people do it but its dangerous.
