Got my FRT back and she has something on her shell. She got it once before in the past and it cleared up naturally. I have put her in her new tank which has a light amount of salt which should help. Anything else I could do? Oddball i know your good with these things ;)

My turtle got that once...

I added salt and did daily treatment dips (sometimes twice a day) with lots of water changes.

hope it clears up, be very careful and watch that it doesnt spread to its nostrils!

Take the frt out , wait for the shell to dry, put it on a damp towel and put iodine on the affected area. Make sure not to get iodine in the eye.

Drying the shell usually causes the turtle to slough off a thin surface layer from the whole carapace. So, don't freak if you witness this.
As far as salt, FRTs are a brackish species so, don't sweat going a little heavy handed with the salt. Remember to boost the temp to the mid-80s. And, you could use Maroxy as an anti-fungal agent. It's non-copper based anti-fungal that's safe enough to use on fish eggs.

this is how i do it, but i use Betadine ( the red bottle ). That and a decent amount of sun exposure does a lot of good..
