Quarantine Tank
I will be getting a new FRT and will temporarily house it in one of my tanks till my 180 is completely cycled, though im not sure which temporary tank to place him in.

Would a FRT prefer a tall hex tank or a rectangular tank??? Both tanks are the same gallons.

out of intereset, does it matter (like do you have fish in them or somehting). and if they are the same gallons, what are the dimensions and how big the frt?

I would go rectanular.

a rectangular should have more swimming room so you mayaswell stick him in there for a bit

thanks for the input...

I WOULD RECOMMEND A RECTANGULAR TANK FIRST OF ALL FOR THE SIDE TO SIDE SPACE AND SECOND OF ALL DONT FORGET THAT FRTS COME TO THE SURFACE FOR AIR AND IN A HEX TANK YOU HAVE NEITHER OF THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS.
