Fruit for Red Hooks

Hello,

My Red Hooks ahve been growing well of a mixed diet of pellets, frozen veggie cubes, cucumber and lettuce but I want to try them on some fruit.

Please can you advise me on what works best and what to avoid. Any general tips for this will be much appreciated.

Not a fruit but my big adult shoal of RH used to love sliced carrots...also a great color enhancer as carrots contain alot of carotene which brings out reds and like colors...I used to use a slicer and cut thin disc shapes for them and they devoured them on a daily basis.

Most fruit eaters will eat grapes

my red hooks, black bars, spotteds, and commons all eat pieces of bananas. just make sure you take out the uneaten portion if you don't have a lot of scavengers in the tank.
