Frustrated with FX5 and Hagen

I have an FX5 and it stopped working. I sent it in to get repaired. They told me my impeller was broken and it wasn't covered under the warranty.

So they sent it back to me and I ordered a new impeller. I got the unit back and put in the new impeller and it still doesn't work! So I know its not an impeller issue. There's no sound at all from the motor and no movement down there.

I primed it correctly and put in the impeller the right way. There's just nothing moving in the motor. So I'm going to talk with them tomorrow to get it checked again. I kind of feel like they didn't even check it at all and just sent it back to me.
 
I have nothing to add here other than, how in the world is the impeller excluded from the warranty? To me it would seem they would first have to prove improper use/maintenance in order to exclude it.
