just wondering if anyone had any info on fry growth with parents VS fry growth in separate tank. i noticed that they grow faster with the parents. could they be feeding of the waste the parents produce?

I did with it my dovii's.Their first batch that hatched I put the fry in a separate
grow out tank as wigglers I let them grow out for three months and in their
third month the parents laid another batch I left them in there because
I had no more tanks to put them in.Two months later they were close to the size of the first batch.So I would say they grow faster when with there parents I think it is because they feed of their parents slime coat.

same here my first dovii batch i removed and 2wks later they bred again. i i left thos in there with them and they are bigger than the first batch.
