I was doing water changes and cleaning one of my XP3's and after removing the media containers I noticed two fry about an inch long in the bottom of the filter case. My Trimac's had spawned a couple of months ago and I removed the fry when they became swimmers and moved them to their own tank. I eventually gave up on raising them and fed them to my various fish. I guess these two got sucked up in the filter somehow and managed to survive inside the filter.
I have put them in a 10 gal tank with a sponge filter. I figure if they are that tough they deserve to live. If all goes well, I will need to get another large tank.
