Yesterday I put a new batch of salvini fry in with the last batch(ran out of tanks). Don't know exactly the time between both batches but they were very close in size so it wasn't long. Anyway... everything was fine last night and they were all getting along. I woke up with morning and every new one was massacred. Even given the very little difference in size would 2 different batches of fry not get along?

yea that tends to happen alot, mainly with cichlids in my experience. if you want to put some new fry in and the tank is large enough just use a divider or a different tank
