Fry seen as Food

I was wondering if having smaller parent fish would result in the fry being seen as food earlier in their development.

I'm referring specifically to my 2 Convicts of maybe 1 inch. Would the normal 2 week period be shortened due to the small parents? They can't even fit hikari mini pellets in their mouth.
