Fry survival in show tank

Got a barred midas in a 250g, no plans on removing them as i have no spare tank. How long will i need to feed them brine shrimp before I can feed them Tetra bits ? would be nice if a couple would actually survive in the tank

I added some really dense plastic plants to my 75g tank when my HRP spawned and I had quite few fry survive. I didn't feed anything special they just lived off from the food particle the older fish left.

If there's lots of wood / rock work, then sure - a bunch will survive - If there are no really predatory fish in there, you will quickly get many more than expected. No need to feed the fry specifically. They will munch on whatever is in the tank.
