Convict fry went from wigglers to free swimming, and I noticed a bunch of spots on my tank walls... egg shells? Couldn't get a good angle for a pic and not super concentrated. Came off with very little effort.

Can you expand anymore on the 'spots'? Are you sure it wasn't fry feeding on some of the algae there?

Positive, these are semi translucent. Oval shaped and not moving on their own.
You're right, it does seem like eggs. Although if they're translucent that would indicate that they're fertile. Then again, if there's not a high concentration of them you'd think they wouldn't be eggs. I've had a similar situation where lots of my eggs disappeared, but looking closely you could still see a few transparent eggs in the same exact spot. I personally wouldn't take much notice of them if the parents aren't guarding and they seem to be spread out. Maybe someone else will know more?

It's just weird, none left in last known pit. TONS of free swimming fry, and these things go are only on the glass. I have a ton of water movement in the tank, makes me think they're just pinned to the glass and not stuck. Tank is an established 40b with eheim 2264 and AC50 for filters plus a aqueon 500 gph circulation fan and a fusion 700 series air pump running just 2 ornaments. Parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10ppm nitrates. Only inhabitants are the 2 convicts and their babies.

My convicts laid on the wall of the glass even though I had set a saucer and a pot for them. I got rid of the pair way too babies couldn't keep up with them lol

Thanks guys, I got em dealt with and sorted out. Tons of fry this batch. The parents are getting better lol, they can't even be a year old. I got them 8 months ago at about .5". I'm excited because one has a heterozygous pink gene. They'll be culled, but are fun to see
