OK, I know that the ideal fry food are things like bbs and vinegar worms, these are fine if you can get hold of them easily (they just arn't stocked in my state, possible due to fanatical inland fisheries department heavily policing anti sale/trading laws of live fish by non regulated individuals, read shops only).

When my acara and connies have bred in the past the have done fairly well on crumble or flake groung to ultra fine powder in a small morter and pestle. Now i have just had a pair bettas breed and i'm looking at breeding some other fish (SA dwarves, sparkler gourami and tetras), do you think it would be possible to raise them on green water or rotifiers from sponge filter followed by the fine powder?
