Feeder fish
I am seriously interested but I have had my bass off of feeders for a long time with no desire to go back. Have you ever tried pellets? It sucks because I want him.

I tried pellets but I don't have the patience to do the Dieselmack (sticky) method. Also, I am not disciplined enough to never use feeders again.

Does he have any HITH or any problems at all? Pic looks ok but it's small and I can't tell in detail. I would consider trying him on pellets myself.

it's much easier to switch juvenile cichla to pellets than big ones. i lost one that never would switch..

yep, that was my success rate too.. i got 3 12"+ ocellaris that had never had pellets, only live. 2 of them switched successfully, the last one i tried to keep him alive, kepts buying feeders every other week to make sure he ate SOMETHING.. but in the end he just starved himself to death.
