I'm in Concord, NC, 10 minutes from UNCC. I have for sale my 190g tank and stand. The tank is 5'long x 2' wide x 30" tall. It is half inch thick glass. The front panel is low iron glass and really clear. This tank is very beefy with two 1/2" thick braces running the length of the bottom and two more euro braces up top. This thing weighs almost 500 pounds.
It has a built in overflow box and is reef ready. It has two drain holes and one return hole drilled. PVC hard plumbing is included. The drains are 1 1/4" Durso Standpipes and a 1" return. Bulkheads are also included. There are also four other holes for a closed loop for reefer type setups. I have these covered with glass siliconed in place, but this is easily removable if you want to use the extra holes.
The stand is DIY and also very beefy with 2x6 for the base and top and 2x4 for legs. I built this myself. It is wide open for easy access to a sump or whatever equipment you would keep under the tank.
Also included is 200 pounds of Pool Filter Sand, a bunch of nice rock work, and a powerstrip mounted on the stand under the tank. No sump or filter is included as I am using these on my new tank. But, I do have a spare 55g that could easily be converted to a wet/dry sump for around $20 if you DIY. You could also use a canister type filter if you prefer.
The only reason I'm selling this is because I've upgraded to a Tenecor 358g. I'm looking for $500.
Here's a shot. I've got many more. PM me or post in this thread with any questions you may have. Thanks for looking and thanks for this great forum.
