Description:Hey Everybody
I've had these two stingrays for 3 years now and while i love them, i'm ready to move on to bigger and better things. The male is a marble motoro and the female is a hybrid. I know, from the person who sold her to me, she definitely has some p14, pearl, and marble motoro in her. As for the rest of her lineage, your guess is as good as mine. The male is about 12" from nose to base of the tail. The female is a bit bigger. The male has fully rolled claspers and I believe the female is as well ready to breed. They are both perfect health wise except the female got in a fight with the male and she has some bights taken out of her disk. Nothing too serious that she cant recover from. She is still acting and eating how she usually does.
Im looking to get $1000 (obo) for the pair. For reference, i payed $1000 for the female when she was only 4-5" long. And if that deal isnt sweet enough, I'll throw in 3 adult blue parrot cichlids and two adult festivums for FREE!
The cichlids are eating pellets and the rays are eating shrimp right out of my hand.
The only catch is that I must be able to visit these rays once a year or at least be able to check in and see how they're doing via text or email. I know it might sound silly but I've had these guys since middle school and my mom and I have grown very attached to them.
I will not ship and I would rather not drive with them but if that either makes or brakes a sale i can drive. Im in Potomac MD by Congressional Aquarium store.
If you only want one ray or just the cichlids we can definitely. Im willing to let these guys go for cheap and I want to sell them as fast as I can, so if you know any friends who want two giant conversation starters, let them know. I have gotten many 2nd dates from mentioning these two
Below I have attached some pictures. The pictures of the rays are about 6 months old. They look the same but bigger and the female has the bites around her disc. I can most certainly take some new pictures of them if you would so please.
