did u take those pic when u just got them, they look very high stressed, or are they just that light
 
cool thanks for the info i didnt know there color can change that light. sweet they look very nice, good luck with the sale, if i had the money i would buy them, can i pay in payments lol
 
Sorry to derail but I've noticed two very distinctly colored widebar datnoid variants.

One variant would carry that coloration when the bars "fade" and the body color turns light, while the other variant does just the opposite.

Take a look at the above and compare it to this:

i think if you have some aquascaping and some nice background it would give them a better feeling and their color will come out. i have both dark and light colors but as i said... once they finish eating their color turns great and late at night.:D it's like a mood swing thing to them.:naughty:
 
The color does change depending on environment and mood of fish...these pics are of the same fish...

i guess having 17 fish in a 60 gal stresses them a lil...
