Description:
Up for sale is a breeders dream set up. It took me probably about 6 months to research, design, order parts and put this beast together. I am extremely anal and a perfectionist so I made sure I did everything correctly, to the “T”. This thing was put together meticulously and is pretty much flawless. When I built it, I never intended to sell it so I made everything perfect and even built it so that I could move it when I moved. It is specifically made so that it can be broken down, transported and set back up again.

Ever wanted to be able to change water on 4 fish tanks at the same time without even getting your hands wet? Well this system will allow you to do just that! You don’t even have to turn the system off when doing a water change like you usually would when changing water on a tank with a wet/dry. You simply leave everything running, turn some ball valves and that’s about it. Need to change your water levels to simulate a rainy/dry season, this thing can do it too!

This set up has 4 TRUVU 40 gallon tanks with black back and black bottom. The tanks are in decent condition with normal amount of scratches that you get from using a tank. The stands are heavy duty stands that go for over $100 each and I think they hold about 1000lbs per shelf. I didn’t like the actual shelves that the tanks would sit on because it was that MDF type of board and I knew they wouldn’t get along with water so I cut up 2x6 boards made of Redwood into planks and used the planks as the shelves. This process of making the shelves was a lot of work by itself, you can’t buy this kind of quality! I have spilt plenty of water on them and it does not faze the shelves. All the ball valves are made by CPEX (known for their quality Ball Valves) I’ve used all True Union ball valves so that you can remove, replace and repair all ball valves if needed. This wet dry that this set up comes with is an Eshopps WD-300. The wet dry is drilled near the bottom and has a 1” bulkhead installed so that you can drain water from the bottom of the wet/dry when doing water changes. I also modified the lids so that it could accommodate a 1.5” bulkhead instead of the stock 1” bulkheads. This allows the system to be able to handle more water flow. I had these four tanks running at about 1600 GPH without any problems (I know for a fact it can handle more but it wasn’t necessary for my purpose). Not only does this allow you to drain your tank without getting your hands wet, but it also flushes out all the poop and crap that accumulates at the bottom of wet dry filters which is usually extremely hard to clean. I used a Fluval SP6 to power water flow to all tanks with ease and can create over 10x turnover per tank if desired for fast flowing current for fish that need it. I have gate valves installed on each inlet to each tank so that each individual tank’s current can be independently set and controlled. I have a 50 gallon Brute trash can next to the set up that I pre-mix the water in. In the Brute, there is an Eheim pump (this pump doesn’t come with the set up) which is connected to PVC pipe that runs to each tank to fill the tanks. Each of the outlets also have gate valves attached to them so that the water going into each tank can be independently moderated. The set up also comes with a Ranco Thermostat to control your heaters, these thermostats are some of the best on the market.

This system has been extremely well planned out and is an awesome system for a serous hobbyist. The parts alone to put this thing together cost a few thousand dollars, not to mention all the time, work, research and planning. This is a steel at $3,500.View attachment 1273519 View attachment 1273520 View attachment 1273519 View attachment 1273519 View attachment 1273520 View attachment 1273521 20170911_104406.jpg
