I made this for my 240 gallon and when I was just about done, I realized that I wanted something taller, so rather than fixing it, I decided to built another one.

This stand was done using double up 2x6's on all 4 corners and 2x4's on the middle 4 posts.

I sheeted with 1/2 plywood all the way around and 3/4" plywood on the front.

Holes for cabinet doors already cut, I used the doors for my new stand.

This stand will handle anything you can throw at it.

Nothing rest on the screws, every beam are rested on vertical ends of the 2x6's and 2x4's.

All the horizontal movement are taken care of using the plywood and the horixontal supports.

I used heavy duty screws as well as wood glue to contructs the whole stand.

Total money spent on this projects was around $ 250. I'd like to get at least $ 150 for it.

If you're building an in wall tank, do nothing..this is all you need..

If you want a show piece stand, you will need the following;

4 Cabinet Doorss
Trims (around the stand)
Re-paint.

then you're done..

I will not be able to take anything less than $ 150, I will not entertain any offers less than that.

If I can't get this thing sold, I'll just put it in the patio and make it a bar

Thanks

Stan
