I did the DIY AC110 nano Fuge, and have not used it, it is brand new. all the mods are done and as well as the DIY light as well. heater go's between the baffles. i have done a FW run on it to make sure everything works. and all is fine

all you will need is a small tank and a Light for the tank. the bulb for the Fuge light is cheap and can be picked up at Home depot

$30 for both plus shipping. or pickup

you put chaeto or some other fast growing plants in there to help absorb nutrients that arent wanted in a reef tank. The screen in the front is so that the plants dont just get pushed out of the filter. some people put baffles in there so they can put live sand, live rock, filter pads, etc.

man!? what size filter is that? looks big! was it meant for saltwater?

it is a filter for aquariums up to 110 gallons.it is an aquaclear 110 previously known as the aqua clear 500.it is about a foot long has a big filter spong carbon the ceramic cylinders that you can buy for it ,it has three layers

that is what i thought at first by lookin at the pictures because i have 3 of them. BUt you think you going alittle over broad with a huge asZ filter like that on that tiny thing?
