I did a bit of checking. This company gets their catfish from many franchise growers. Most of which raise their catfish in overstocked latrine ponds. Yes, you read that correctly. The bulk of their 'food' arrives pre-digested. Some farms are adjoined to pig farming operations with the same 'end' results at feeding time. The majority of these overstocked polluted ponds are treated with high doses of randomly purchased (ie; whatever can be bought cheap) antibiotics to cut down on diseases associated with densely pack fish populations and poor food/poor water quality. The farms along the Mekong River are also prone to influxes of industrial wastes containing lead, mercury, arsenic, cyanide, benzine, and a host of other chemicals dumped without monitoring from industrial plants all along the river.
It would be healthier for you and your fish to feed on hospital waste than to bring this poison into your home.
