Description:

Have a 5 inch Indonesian Datnoid. For the last year he has been mostly black instead of showing his colors. I’m not sure why. I think my 75 gallon is to small for him. He is trained to eat pellets. If you’re interested pm me and I can message you videos of him swimming and eating. There seems to be a 50/50 verdict on if datnoids are stressed or it’s normal when they are black in color. According to his behavior, I would say it’s normal. He gulps down pellets with aggression, he greets me every time I pass the tank. And he swims freely. I’m only selling because I’m taking down my tank. It’s very hard to get good pictures of him, I have included some of him today and I also included some of when he was younger so you can see his colors and patterns.

I am also interested in selling my tank if anyone’s interested. 75 gallon with stand, glass lids, led lights, fluval 406 canister filter, aquaclear 70 filter, aqueon 75 and a fluval 300w Heater. I have a ton of ornaments to include as well.​

Sorry. That is just to low. Live aquaria sells a 1-2” for $42. I would accept $60. For a 5”(possibly bigger) I think that’s reasonable.

Here’s a better current pic of him. He’s a great looking fish. I’m starting to wonder if he doesn’t like the white gravel. Could be to bright with the leds and that’s what made him be more black. Because I’m the morning when I come down and the lights are off you can actually see his nice patterns.
