I have grown gar. My florida looked nothing like it when it was young. And I bought it from Aqua Imports as a spotted gar.
 
Cool, that works. If it's still available next month, I'll grab it. I still wouldn't mind seeing pictures, but I'm cool with it either way. I see you said you might trade for plecos and I have a couple commons I'm trying to give away, but you're probably looking for different plecos.
