FS:Plastic 40g tank + Filter ~~So CAL~~

Up for sale is a plastic 40g only with a Whisper 60 Power Filter, pick up only Orange County, can deliver within a reasonable distance. Price is $80 is negotiable.

It's not painted or anything the back ground is black because i put black sheets on the black, they are removable.

"Plastic" as in Acrylic? Looks like glass from this picture.... you can see the silicone seams. Unless you used "plastic" instead of glass and siliconed it together. No stand or lights?

yes plastic, it is liter than glass and feels different, but the tank itself doesn't look like acrylic. I didn't mention a stand because it is sitting on a TV stand with another tank right under it if you want that 25 dollars its yours. The lights im using are 24" wouldn't be worth your cash for this tank.

Further confirming that its plastic it has a small X scratch on the back its really hard to see but from what i know Glass doesn't scratch.

Also Lights are free if you guys want them when you buy the tank

Actually glass can be scratched quite easily although not as easy as acrylic. From the pic I would say it's glass also. And acrylic is a type of polymer aka plastic.

I never knew glass was able to scratch, when i use an algae magnet i pick up some sand ands scrap it on the glass and nothing must not be hard enough. Well I guess this tank is glass, but i would say thin glass because it sure doesn't sound like glass nor weigh.

Thats because its only a 40g tank, thats tiny it won't weigh much.

i have another 40g glass made by all glass weighs a lot more, the lids on that one don't fit this one which i find odd :/
