We raised this guy for a little over 2 years as a juvenile feeding mostly mealworms, crickets and occasionally feeders. Unfortunately it is time for us to let him go. You will notice that the only fish that he is kept with right now is a 12" RTC that I got from another MFK member. Needless to say, he has killed:

  • A beautiful 18" Peacock Bass
  • A 22" Alligator Gar
  • Some large mono's
  • Some large lepronoso? (Can't spell it)
  • Flowerhorn
  • Butterkofferi
  • Tiger Shovelnose/RTC hybrid
The list goes on and on. He's crazy! I think it's because we only have him in a 180 gallon 72x24x24 aquarium. Plenty of room for him, but not for any other fish. You should of seen him take out the gar. He would start from one end of the tank and jet propel all the way to the other end (where the gar usually was) and RAM him!

Sick has never been sick or sluggish to my knowledge.

Active, healthy and mean...

$150 takes him, if you want.

With these issues I'm having with him, you'd think I'd give him away for free, but I wouldn't feel right doing that knowing how well we've taken care of him and how long we've raised him. He's worth every bit of it, so if there are no offers, then I guess we'll be keeping him for a while longer!
