They are a selective line bred Bristlenose. They are called super red plecos by most markets but in reality they are more of a orange. most will turn into a darker shade of orange. If i remember correctly, they are basically chose albino bristlenose that were a darker strain. repetitive selective breeding was done to the point where we have now with this strain called super red. Their eyes are not red like albino though. Most people who have them have planted tanks. generally not suited for monsters, though my old frontosa never really bothered them.

I should mention they are 1.25 to 1.75 inches. They max out generally around 4 inches.
