I have a few fishes that need new homes...

~7-7.5" African arowana (Heterotis niloticus) - i raised this fish up since it was 2.5" and was saving this guy for a local friend, but he ended up not taking him, so he's on sale to everyone else. perfect condition, and great size.
$85

trio of reticulata (magdalenae) stingrays (captive bred by AJ of AP). rays have great pattern, are very hardy and are around 4.5-5" disc. 1 male, 2 females.
$180 for the trio.

~17-18" silver arowana....great specimen, near perfect condition (lost a scale or two in transport). probably the best silver i have seen at this size...no sign of drop eye at this point, which is unusual for a silver at this size.
$50

i'll post pics when i get the chance. pick up in Ann Arbor, MI 48103. please post, PM, email (E_americanus@hotmail.com) with any questions; thanks for your interest--

..Drat!! Blasted Pick Up Only!!!

Sorry for the derail. But,...

lol

yeah, shipping has proven not so great as of late...fedex has regulations that state they will no longer ship live fishes...i used to be able to pull it off, but they know me over there, and now they are stricter with the recent regulations...always had good luck with them though. since then i moved to UPS and they seem to be THE WORST at shipping ANYTHING. not only have they screwed up multiple fish shipments for me (i swear they had to be kicking the boxes around) but they managed to break TWO UV sterilizers of the exact same brand from the same place in the same week! they appear to be the epitome of incompetence these days.

that being said, i will probably return to shipping in the warmer months, but in this dead of winter it is just too much of a risk...especially with rays and arows (although the African bonytongues are at least on the tougher side of the fishes available) --

would you meet part way I a, gonna be in Indiana in the next few weeks.....

i may consider it, but it depends on where and how many of these fishes you were planning on buying; there would also be an extra fee to cover gas, etc. unless it's a good deal for me, i'm really only considering pick up for these fishes. thanks for your interest--
