/FT- 2 Male F1 Dovii 6'' & 5.5'' - NYC - PU

Hello MFK. Seeing that I'll be attending a BA/MD program this fall, I am not able to take along these beautiful fish. They will require more space than the living space I occupy will be able to give and I am not going to leave them with my parents. Full of personality and a thriving appetite, these two dovii were bought from Ira, a respectable and personable vendor on the forum.

They are fed Ken's pellets, Hikari, NLS, and shrimp and freeze-dried krill as a treat.

I am asking for $30 or a trade of some other CA/SA cichlid will be fair. It'd be nice to leave my parents a nice center piece for their soon-to-be show tank.

Pick-up is required seeing that I am unable to ship. Feel free to post any questions or even better PM me so that we can have a private discussion.

Those are female. They dont look male at all.

They have the spots on their fins though. Are there other ways to tell so that I can check?

Post some more pics up cause the in tank shots u have posted are a definite female.

Some females have the spots but not over their horizontal line.

Here are some more pics. In the tank, I see spots on the fins but you know more than I do on Parachromis dovii. I trust they're female.

The very bottom pic looks male. But the first pic looks female to me. Some females have some spotting but not as intense as the males do.

Plus the top one is showing alot more of a yellowish color. Females especially the costa rican type are yellowish in coloration.
